Day 1 : Airport – Habarana

Cart ride + catamaran ride in the evening we could visit pollonnaruwa 9th to 12th AD ruin city 2nd capital of Sri Lanka.

Day 2 : Habarana

Climb Sigiriya rock fortress evening view wild elephants at Minneriya declared by UN as the 6th greatest wild life spectacle in the world. The largest gathering of wild elephants in Asia mentioned in the Lonely planet as well.

Day 3 : Habarana – Kandy

Walk along the famous Kandy lake explore the old town Bazaar and visit the famous Peradeniya botanical gardens.

Day 4 : Kandy – Nuwara eliya

Visit a tea plantation working tea factory see the lush green country side take a hike through tea bushes.

Day 5 : Nuwara eliya

Train ride from Nuwara eliya to Ella passing through the old railway stations railway tunnels see waterfalls lush tea plantations and deep valleys view some of the most beautiful sceneries on this stretch of Sri Lanka.

Day 6 : Ella – Mirissa – Unawatuna

The sun kissed beaches at Mirissa are a joy to the tired eyes of a western traveler-for Sri Lankans its people have taken its landscape for granted.Sri Lanka is a island blessed in every sort of way. Visiting Tangalle bay traveling along the coast line. Plenty of beautiful scenery along the way.

Day 7 : Unawatuna – Airport
Whale watching in the morning (Optional)

On the way the traveler will be able to see the stilt fisherman a speciatiality in this area.Visit the star fort at Galle constructed by the Portuguese Dutch the ramparts were built to keep away invaders but never attacked. The recent tsunami devastated many in the coastal town but the Galle fort was spared a credit to ancient engineers. (The alleys and old Dutch/Portuguese houses can cost fortune in this highly sought after area) many old buildings restored a world heritage city.
